Another opportunity to change the world and provide a little hope!

Friends and families of Redeemer and Bethany (San Antonio) are joining efforts to paint a house for a needy family in New Braunfels. Peter Olson has coordinated this special project with the Salvation Army.

WHO: Young & Old (6th grade on up to 101 years)

WHEN: July 18 & 19 (Saturday & Sunday)
(We will meet at Redeemer at 8am to carvan to New Braunfels by 9am)

WHERE: New Braunfels & Slumber Falls

WHAT: All tasks involved with painitng a home in New Braunfels. Paint & supplies are provided.
(I am sure we could use help with meals if you aren't able to help with painting duties)

COST: $35 ( 1 night at Slumber Falls & 4 meals)

Accomodations are provided at Slumber Falls Camp for Friday night. Meals include lunch & dinner on Friday as well as breakfast & lunch on Saturday.

WHAT TO BRING: Bedding, towel, swimming suit, painting clothes!!

*** Special Need: Person with Senior Lifeguard certification for Friday night duty at Slumber Falls pool. This will allow painters a refreshing swim. Even if you are just

 Redeemer UCC's Board of Christian Education is hard at work, planning for the new Sunday School Year of 2009 & 2010. 

The year will be action packed with christian education.  Each Sunday morning, there is a time of worship and prasing our Lord at 9:15 am for the children and then on to their Sunday rooms with their teachers.

Come and join us, it is an experience you will never forget!

July 19 - In 10:30 am worship, we will welcome Dixie & Sammy as they share their musical talents with the congregation. These two young people are so talented and share their ministry though their music.

July 19 - The "Socks - Undies - Hats - Mittens - Can Goods Tree" is up at this time as we celebrate "Christmas in July".  The items gathered will given to the "Community & School Program"

July 26 - The Search Committee and the Church Council will present to the Congregation, Reverend Leroy Zillmann, as a pastoral candidate for Redeemer UCC.  He will present his trial sermon at the 10:30 am Worship.

July 31 and August 1 - Rummage/Craft Sale from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the church. One half of the profits from the booth rental will be given to Back Bay Mission in Boloxi, Mississippi.  The greatest tacos on this side of the Cibolo Creek will be served for breakfat and wonderful short order foods will be prepared for lunch. (more info on the calendar page)

August 2 - This will be Pastor Frank's last Sunday of worship with us as our interim pastor.  Craig Bielke will be leaving for Seminary in August.  We will host a reception after the 10:30 am worship to honor and thank Pastor Frank and Karen for their time with us and to give Craig a wonderful send off to Seminary.
