ORGANIZATIONS OF OUR CHURCH

Women's Fellowship - began in the 1930 as the Women's Guild.  Like in every family, it is the woman who works hard and knows that all things are possible with God's assistance.  The WF is a group that meets every third Wednesday of the month at 2:00 pm.  They manage some of the up keep in the church and the church's kitchen.  They are always ready to assist with any group within the church that has a project.  The WF is known for their great Spaghetti dinners that they prepare for Vacation Bible School.  The also have the best "Country Store" at Redeemer's Harvest Day Celebration in October each year.  They provide benevolences to the Battered Women's Shelter, The Child Protective Service, The Guadalupe Hospice, Marion Project CARE and others.
This group is a true ROCK at Redeemer.

Evening Circle - this group begun out of the need of work ladies.  There were many ladies that work out of the home and wanted to belong to the Women's Fellowship, so an evening group began.   The EC is a very active group of ladies.  They are like the WF and do the same things for the church.  This group is known for their awesome sandwiches that they provide for Vacation Bible School.  The EC is in charge of preparing the delicious "Turkey and Dressing Dinner" for Redeemer's Harvest Day Celebration.  There are many, many hands that help them and the food is always outstanding!   They to provide benevolences to the Battered Women's Shelter, The Child Protective Service, The Guadalupe Hospice,  Marion Project CARE and others.

Redeemer Fellowship - This group began in 2004, a group of Redeemer's people wanted the church to become more active in “the reach out to others”.
The goal of the RF is "Missions".
They are true "Worker Bees".

They are known for their great meals that they provide to raise funds for families in need, Marion Project CARE, the mission in India, the Back Bay Mission on the Gulf Coast, Guadalupe CPS, the Christmas Angel Trees for children, food for families at Christmas time and many other things.  If there is a need, this group will be there to assistance!  Oh yes, at Vacation Bible School, they are the group to provide the children and their parents with the greatest Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on this side of the Cibolo Creek.
RF has Crafts Shows and Rummage Sales every year to help raise funds for projects.  One of the many outstanding events that they organize is something that Redeemer has named "Night in Old Bethlehem".  This event is open to the community and surrounding area not just our church.  The staff at the Marion Community Library are co-partners in helping organize this event.   This event is a great opportunity for family to get together to begin the celebration of the Advent Season.  It takes place the first Saturday of December each year.  It is a time for children to learn the true meaning of Christmas. There are many hands on activities for the young and old, things of today, yesterday and of Jesus' Day.  There is a live nativity, a hayride, ice-skating in South Texas, great food, homemade bake goods, singing/music, many other hands-on activities and the LaPasada at the closing of the night.

Senior Youth Fellowship – This is a group of high school youth that are our church’s leaders of tomorrow.  They gather on Sunday morning not only for Sunday School but also for their Fellowship time together.  They to are true stewards of God.   They have activities at the church, they share in the worship services, as well as doing things in the community.

Junior Youth Fellowship – This group is made up of Middle School youth and young.  They too are active in all church functions.  This group collects alumni can year around for recycling.  The profits are given to organization in the community or to support one of the church missions.  The JYF meets monthly after church worship on Sunday morning to plan their activities.
