Dear Friends in Christ,

Welcome to Redeemer United Church.  We are a Christ-centered church located in the rural countryside community of Zuehl, Texas.  Our roots are typically in the German Lutheran tradition from which we came into being in 1900.  You will find us to be a very  warm, friendly, and welcoming congregation.  We have many fellowship groups; we have something for every age and group.  In addition, we have many social events which usually evolve around some kind of food and refreshments.  Even though we are steeped in the Evangelical/Lutheran tradition, we are open to new and innovative forms of worship.  Our twenty member choir, led by Troy Meckel, takes great joy in singing modern, Christian songs.   We know that God is in our midst and working wonders, and therefore, God still speaks to us in many ways, his wonders to behold.  

Come and join us for worship which is held on Sunday mornings at 10:30.  Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. We are located three miles south of IH 10 as you turn off the Zuehl Road exit.  Follow Zuehl Road 3 1/2 miles south of IH10 and you will come to the community of Zuehl.  Turn left off of Zuehl Road onto Gin Road and we will be just a little down Gin road on the right side.  You can't miss us because of the beautiful "Country" setting!  Our lovely brick church sits right next to a charming cemetery, full of rich history.   We are about fifteen to twenty minutes east of San Antonio.  The Rio Cibolo Ranch (Country Club) is just around the corner from us, and the Zuehl Airport is just down the road from the church.
